Injustice
Recently, I had the privilege of witnessing the power of prayer -- through the life of a woman who has suffered for many years.
The woman was married to a violent and extremely oppressive man for over 40 years. He was physically, emotionally, and verbally abusive towards her; making her everyday life very difficult to cope with. He had tried to strangle her five times, and tried to stab her twice with a knife; not to mention his numerous adventures with other women, some of whom he impregnated. Fearing for the safety of her life, she was eventually driven to divorce him, settling everything they had together equally between the two of them in a relatively amicable way.
Her quality of life improved immensely after the divorce; there was no longer anyone to abuse, dominate, or control her. Unfortunately, this did not last long, the man (the ex-husband) married another woman, and a new nightmare began. The new wife of the man decided to pursue every bit of asset he and his ex-wife had together. She did so by hiring six lawyers to file a lawsuit against the woman (ex-wife) in the hope of gaining as much money and property as possible for herself.
I have never witnessed such greed and injustice in all my life. I have never met anyone who try to gain possession of things that they had never worked for, which rightfully belonged to someone else. The world is indeed in its last days, as the Bible states:
2 Timothy 3:1-6
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive,... 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, the kind who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires ...
Toothache
Understandably, stress built up in the body of the ex-wife. So much so that one morning, out of the blue, she woke up with the most painful toothache ever. She had never had any problems with her teeth in all her life, so she was rather surprised by it. She went to the doctor for a regular check-up, and so took the opportunity to ask him to take a look at her teeth. He told her she had a gum infection, and that she would need to see a dentist. She went ahead and made an appointment with a local dentist. In the meantime, as her teeth and gum were so painful for eating, she resorted to drinking soups.
She contacted me, and told me the above story over a phone call. I decided right away to help her; my heart really went out to her. God had said to me in Isaiah:
Isaiah 58:6
... loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, set the oppressed free and break every yoke ...
As she lives some distance away, we arranged to pray together over a video call. I gave her two long prayers which the Holy Spirit told me to send to her, called:
Prayer for release from Unhealthy/Unholy Ties resulting from abuse
Prayer for release from Fear Bonds and Ties of Control

Healing
The woman (ex-wife) began to pray these two prayers out loud. As she did, the pain in her gum & teeth began to subside. She was shocked, surprised, and astounded! By the time she finished reading these prayers, the pain had completely gone!
She poked, pressed, slapped her cheeks in disbelief, and then gave a loud laughter, followed by shouts of praise to God. "Wow!!", she exclaimed, "What power of God is in these prayers?!".
Indeed, by praying those prayers, she had forgiven her ex-husband, and severed the ties that had bound her to him. There was no longer any control or domination placed upon her in the spiritual realm, and she was completely set free from him.
Since then, she has been able to eat normal food without any pain, and has cancelled her dentist appointment. She wrote,
"I have just finished eating rice and chicken with salad. My teeth and gum are 100% healed! Praise God!"
More importantly though, she has experienced the power of forgiveness, and the cutting of ungodly soul ties with the ex-husband who had oppressed her for so long.
The lawsuit is still being prepared by the ex-husband's new wife's lawyers, who promised that in only seven months' time, the woman will lose everything she has. But what the lawyers do not know is that this woman has God on her side, and that He will fight her battles for her. I pray that God will grant her justice, not only in the life to come, but in this life now.
