Sharing The Gospel

John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son

John 14:6

6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Sharing the gospel is not the easiest thing to do, not least because it often offends people. Yet, it is the only truth that can save them from eternal damnation, called "hell". Jesus is, and remains to be, the One and Only Saviour in this world for all time.

I am still learning to share the gospel and could never stop asking God for enough courage to do so. Many a time I have been shunned, rejected, and even shouted at, but when the gospel lands on an open heart, hungry and thirsty for the truth of God - there, I would witness the most amazing display of God's power. Hearts turn to repentance and full of forgiveness, releasing the person into freedom; their spirit born anew - a life changed forever!

From time to time, I try to see the gospel in the little things of life, if only to keep me in tune and in touch with all that Jesus had done for me and all others in this world.
